Cosmedics Skin Clinics has confirmed the prices of ClariVein® varicose vein treatment at its London Vein Treatment Centres on Harley Street and also in the Putney clinic in South London.

Treatment will cost from £1,895.

The actual price is to be confirmed in consultation with the vascular surgeon after examination of the veins themselves. The consultation includes a duplex scan to determine the exact nature of the veins. This enables the surgeon to recommend the best treatment.

What is ClariVein®?

ClariVein® is a new treatment at Cosmedics’ vein treatment centres. It works through a combination of mechanical and chemical action to destroy the vein. It is delivered via catheter under ultrasound and can be carried out as a day case on a ‘walk in walk out’ basis, so it is very appealing for clients looking for an effective solution for treating varicose veins which is also also convenient (compared to surgery).

This new treatment will complement other treatments for troublesome veins, as the clinics already offer a range of options for varicose veins:

Cosmedics Skin Clinics offer private treatment for thread veins and varicose veins at their London Vein Treatment Centre. They also offer varicose vein ultrasound scanning for proper diagnosis of any ‘underlying’ vein problems.

Their London Vein Treatment Centre offers EVLA (endovenous laser ablation) laser varicose vein removal with a vascular surgeon with prices starting at £1,650 per leg (1 vein).

They also offer foam sclerotherapy and micro surgery in order to provide a tailor-made service with the most appropriate treatment for each individual.

Thread veins can be treated with sclerotherapy injections, micro cautery laser or Nd:Yag laser.
