Price Promise / Fixed Prices

The published prices we have shown above are inclusive of all scanning, anaesthetic, operational costs and follow up. Other clinics and hospitals often have various additional costs such as anaesthetist, fees for ultrasound scan and operating room costs that are often added in later. As we are a dedicated clinic to offering minimally invasive treatments via a walk-in walk out service the costs, we publish are transparent.

Also other providers accept private medical insurance for certain cases which often is billed at higher tariffs and self pay patients are not passed on any cost savings.

We appreciate that, due to the extensive range of possible treatments, the price list can look confusing. Given the variability of treatment options costs can vary however we have given as much information as possible to make it less confusing to help you make a decision.

The only exception to the prices mentioned above are the rare situations whereby we just cannot treat all veins in the one session due to very extensive underlying problems. In our hands this occurs in less than 1% of cases. An accurate quotation of costs can usually be provided at the time of consultation.

Price FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Our standards of care are our priority and our patients’ comments, and feedback are overwhelmingly positive for patient care and results. You can rest assured then that our lower price point is not due to lower standard of care or service. We can pass on cost savings to patients that hospitals and non dedicated clinics are not able to by

  • Having a dedicated personable team that has been together for over 10 years
  • High volume that allows lowest costs
  • Our own CQC registered premises to regulate and keep prices low
  • Lower overheads compared to hospitals
  • As we don’t accept private medical insurance we don’t have to adhere to their higher tariffs.

We charge the same for EVLA whether a patient has one leaky vein or multiple leaky veins per leg needing treatment. We do not charge a patient with one leaky vein more than necessary but rather if you have multiple veins you are not being charged more unnecessarily.

The reason we don’t charge a patient more for EVLA if they have multiple veins is that we are a company tailored to minimally invasive treatments and as such perform a high volume of cases at a reasonable price point. Our aim is to given a high standard of care and value for money with these procedures so our patients appreciate that we are charging fairly and openly. Should in exceptional circumstances patients have very complex conditions then clearly this may necessitate more treatments that would incur an extra charge however this is not common practice and will always keep you informed of what any treatments will entail.

If, due to the extent of your varicose veins, it is not possible to undertake EVLA in one sitting. Very occasionally, we need to do EVLA over 2 sessions and we charge the Unilateral fee twice. This occurs for less than 1% of our patients.

The other varying price for patients with more extensive veins is the number of sessions of foam sclerotherapy (or avulsions) required to treat all the visible varicosities. The more visible veins you have the more likely you are to need multiple sessions of injections due to the safety limit restricting how much sclerotherapy can be injected in one sitting.
